I wanted to like this book. I kept trying to give it a chance. But the homophobic stereotypes playing out were too much. The homophobic slurs were too much. The crude use of words to describe female body parts over and over was too much. The portrayal of every female as a slut or simpering idiot was too much. Iâ€™m always looking for true love to win, but this book was too filled with bigotry for me to wait on true love.

Iâ€™ve read a few M/M and itâ€™s not because I donâ€™t enjoy it. Iâ€™ve only found one I enjoyed reading and Crossing Swords will make two.What got my attention was the book cover for Sword Fight and my friends talking about it so I took a chance. Iâ€™m so glad I did because I laughed continuously through the entire read. Not only was it funny there are plenty of swoon worthy parts that will give you the feels.Itâ€™s not smooth sailing for Christopher and Jeremy. Their confused, they struggle, and they fight.â€œNothing else is like this,â€ I say softly against his pulse. I donâ€™t understand why he feels this good or why I like it so much. Why doesnâ€™t this feel wrong? Why is it everything Iâ€™ve ever wanted?â€I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Absolutely loved this. ME captures the pair of teen boys perfectly from their ability to punch each other in the face, engage in all kinds of sexual escapades with each other, and still take time in the day to get drunk and deny they are gay. They are from a small affluent community in Washington, and at the beginning, I was concerned that this would quickly become another version of "The Rules of Attraction," which was also supposed to be a comedy but was really rather depressing. Though there is a bit of angst and alcohol abuse in the story, and the boys become violently physical in the end it's yet another flavor of gay, one that doesn't have much representation in the m/m romance community. That actually makes it even more wonderful. Humor 5 stars! Sexiness 5 stars! Story and storytelling...5 stars. Seriously, read this book.

Kennedy actually did Chris a favor when she cheated. It changed his whole life. Exploration, experimentation, questioning, and discovery. The descriptions and internal dialogue were hilarious, and I loved this. I liked when Chris and Jeremy finally figured out that labels are meaningless and feelings are everything. Love is love, wherever you find it. I was shocked at Chris's mom's initial reaction, but was happy with her coming to terms with the facts after she had time to digest and deal with it all. I loved her overkill. Proud mom. Can't wait to book two and more hilarity.

I loved this book! I found it funny and I loved the friendship Jeremy and Christopher had. This book seemed immature and used a lot of gay slurs so some people wouldn't like it. I haven't looked to find out but this book reminds me of a Wattpad book because of how immature some of the characters acted (Christophers mother running away like a child) and the parents never being home and the kids throwing house parties.Regardless of all that I read this on kindle unlimited and the bought it right after I finished because I loved it so much, it just won't be everyone's cup of tea.

I had no idea what to expect from this book! But, I got way more thanI bargained for. I don't think I've ever read a m/m romance novel where I laughed just as much as I swooned!!!! My gosh these boys are intense and have long and bumpy road of coming into their own. If you're looking for a more traditional m/m romance novel, this isn't for you. But, if you want to try a different experience and hold on tight for the ride, then by all means, please one click this book. LOVED this book!

I swear I've laughed so hard while reading this book!!! I've been glued to my kindle for two days. These guys are the cutest gay/not gay couple ever!!! They struggle with understanding their feelings for one another and accepting what was happening. It was so HOT and SEXY!!I just feel like I need a second book!! I want more of their story! For a debut book this was amazing Mixie!!!
