It's not just the days themselves, though even if it was, it is still in a class all its own.There are also thoroughly well researched articles on various topics such as the Lunisolar Calendars used by the Druids, Romans, Athenians , Egyptians, and the Renaissance era genius Pletho.There are also very informative essays on the Egyptians, Plato's Cave, the Aurum Solis, and perhaps most valuable to Hermetic types, two pieces penned by late Aurum Solis Grandmaster Melita Denning I've never seen before, concerning Druid wisdom, and Incense lore. There's even a photo of her "in action."The authors brilliantly have included the true planetary days (going by the cycle of the Moon) for every day, as described in the book "Rediscover the Magic of the Gods and Goddesses." This makes their use so very accessible for any practitioner of magick to get a much stronger interaction with the Gods of the planets than with the usual civil calendar.I can't recommend the Ultimate Pagan Almanac enough- if you are Pagan, or interested in how the Ancients reckoned time, you need this book!
