Whew first let me give props to the queen, Allison Hoobs. You served it up again with part two of "Make Me Beg." You gave the title a whole new meaning with both your beautiful imagination and pen game.In part two Spike and Vanessa are raising Aiden who in part one we found out wasn't spike's son. Spike decided he still wanted to raise him as his own. Vanessa decided to work it out with her marriage, and not tell Quincy that Aiden was his. Spike and Vanessa always had a open marriage that worked for them, until Quincy came in the picture. He humiliated Spike and controlled their marriage. Vanessa realized Quincy was bad news. Eventually Quincy disappeared and they never heard from him again until Now.Spikes Family business ended up falling down again do to his father's gambling habits. So they ended up with both cars getting repossessed, and their home going into foreclosure. Spike went to stay at friends house while Vanessa and Aiden went to stay with her grandmother.Vanessa starting to hate Spike for them being in a bad situation. She decided to call Quincy, but she got no answer until later that day. Quincy's secretary called her back with an offer for both Vanessa and Spike that for sure would have her ass begging later.Get your copy to find out how Quincy had full power over the married couple, and he didn't have to come in contact with them to do it.
Well! As soon as I saw this book available, I jumped right in! It starts at the place the first one ended but if you missed 'Make Me Beg', this offering only sent you to it to catch the heck up! But then, you would want to go to the beginning of the saga in 'No Boundaries' where it all began. Thrills, chills, oohs and ahhs were the order of the day for this novella. In my opinion, Allison's imagination is uncomparable to any other author in this genre!. How she does it is beyond my comprehension! Most of her works are set in my home town, which I miss immensly, so I am always anxiously awaiting an Allison Hobbs offering. I was not disapponted. Thanks Allison!
Make Me Beg 2 was crazy. I thought than once she had her baby. Vanessa and Spike would raise their son and move on from Qunicy..I mean Mr. Langford. But nooooo!!! Greedy Vanessa couldn't be supportive and help her family so she convince Spike to take a to good to be true job offer from Mr. Langford. Well not only did Vanessa's plan backfire she loss a lot because of insataiable sexual appetite. Allison doesn't disappoint with the storyline and the sex scenes. This was a good series
Allison Hobs is a beast when it comes to her work and this books is a prime example of an excellent spin-off series. Spike and Vanessa, the interracial couple from No Boundaries are back and even nastier than ever. Chyle.... Vanessa sexual apettite is out of the world and she is willing to do anything to keep up with the Jones. Spike,on the other hand is drifting away as a new woman captures his attention. Whew!!!!!!! A hot mess. Excellent story, new character and a juicy cliffhanger that will leave you with an OMG Moment.
Allison Hobbs brought us the continuation of Vanessa, Spike and Quincy. Spike and Vanessa have tried to live a "vanilla" lifestyle after their crazy experience with Quincy Langford. Unfortunately due an unfortunate incident Vanessa reaches out to him for help and possibly more fun. Spike goes along with the program cause he loves her and their son but it turns out to be more than they bargain for!!
**CONTAINS SPOILERS**So this sequel to MMB totally went off the rails. I HAD to finish it because I had to know how this crazy story ended. The one thing I hated about the book was that there was no Quincy in this book - just repetitive references to him throughout. It was like the dangling carrot Hobbs used to keep me reading and it worked - although I had to yank a star from the rating.
Ms. Hobbs always takes you there! This book had so many twists and turns you will need a seat belt! Whenever I read a new book by Ms. Hobbs, I always go back and re-read her other works! I have now re-read "Munch" and "Make me Beg" . Thanks, Ms. Hobbs!
Quincy has walked out of Vanessa and Spike's life, but not for long. He not only humiliates the family, but tried to treat them apart as well. Will they survive? You have to read the novella and find out for yourself. I highly recommend this book.
